"I bought this device mainly to emulate GBA and NDS games, and the Anbernic RG DS is brilliant for that. I haven’t tried (and wouldn’t recommend) emulating 3DS games; it might be able to run a few, but it’s clearly not designed for that. In my opinion, this device is perfect if you only want to emulate games up to the NDS and need a reliable companion for your everyday life. I take it with me practically everywhere now. One thing I have to say, though: if you get one, please do yourself a favour and, before doing anything else with the Anbernic RG DS, install GammaOS. The pre-installed OS is terrible, and GammaOS isn’t just free – it’s also very easy to install (and there are loads of tutorials on YouTube). About Retro Gear: Delivery was fairly quick; it took about a week to arrive, even though it had to cross a border. The customer support is really great, by the way – I contacted them about an issue and they responded very quickly; we found a solution to my problem straight away."
